This is what I was afraid of. Takahashi was pressured into creating Melvin, so Marik, who at that point was such an extremely popular character, would get off clean. Not only is he cleared of every single crime he committed so far, but he actually needs to be saved from his generically evil alter-ego. I'm really beginning to hate Shonen Jump right now. This is not the kind of change an editor was meant to make in a story.

@Kagomenesan Uh... No. Her name is still Isis. 'Ishizu' is just how it's pronounced in Japanese. The name carried over like this to the 4kids dub, to avoid lip-sync issues.

@CrystalKabuto Isis was her name before her current life, when she lived with the pharaoh thousands of years ago. her reincarnation name is Ishizu. They like to call themselves different names when they feel like it XD
